The weather is looking a bit inclement for the Mid Winters Nosh. If you do not want to tramp on Wednesday, please join us at 11.00 am at the Surf Life Saving Club for some backcountry banter and games. We will have lunch when the trampers join us. Don't forget to bring some finger food to share. You will also be able to collect your FMC cards and the latest copy of Backcountry. The following tramps cross Brooksdale Station private land: - access to Mt Lyndon, Red Hill, Cloudy Hill from SH73 and from Lake Lyndon - access to Foggy Peak, Castle Hill Peak from SH73 - access to the Torlesse Range, and the Gap from the Kowai river. The mapteam is currently updating any tramps that had incorrect contact details.

Thankfully fuel prices have edged downwards recently and as such the travel cost has dropped from .19c /km to .18c /km which equates to a 10% reduction to the stated amount per person in June Going Places. This reduction is effective from 3rd June.
